1.Low temperature
When the ink is used in winter, the viscosity of the ink will increase and the fluidity will be reduced after the temperature is lowered, which will affect the normal ink output of the nozzle and cause serious damage to the nozzle.
Suggestion:
1). Improve the printer's ambient temperature by air conditioning or heating (>15 C)
2). On the temperature control device, the ink temperature is raised to 25-28 C. This method has a large power, but the effect is relatively safe.
3). If the working environment temperature of the printer is below 15 C, if there is heating function, it is recommended to turn on the nozzle heating function (30-32 C).
4). If the ink viscosity is low, users of inkjet printers can recommend increasing the voltage of the printer head as much as possible. Please pay attention to the voltage limit of the printer nozzle (please read the printer instructions)
2.Dry
Low winter temperatures, whether indoor or air conditioning heating, indoor relative humidity will make the air dry - dry (humidity less than 30%). Drying environment will also affect the normal use of ink.Dry environment will produce and accumulate static electricity, high static electricity not only has a greater impact on the printer, the use of ink will also have some impact, such as the phenomenon of flying ink. Air drying speed is unstable, the ink on the nozzle surface will accelerate the drying, resulting in the nozzle hole surface plugging phenomenon and frequent ink breakage phenomenon. If you do not pay attention to cleaning the nozzle in time, you may also damage the nozzle.Moreover, the cold and dry environment can also change the performance of printing materials, resulting in incompatibility of materials and ink. If not solved in time, it will lead to print quality problems, so we recommend that qualified customers will still print room temperature / humidity within the desired range.
3.Transportation and Storage Environment
Some people think that as long as the room temperature and humidity are well controlled, it doesn't matter how the ink is transported and stored. In fact, whether it is a weak solvent ink or sublimation ink,the transfer and storage environment of the ink is also a key factor affecting the performance of the ink. If the temperature is too low, the physical and chemical parameters of the ink will change with time.
Suggestion:
1). Ink transport in winter, especially in northern China, is recommended to be carried at low temperatures (< 10 C) less than a week. If more than this time, it is recommended to use insulated containers or transport vehicles, with good insulation and sealing conditions.
2). Ink storage warehouse should have certain insulation conditions, if you do not have the conditions to install heating or air conditioning, it is best to maintain the storage temperature of 5-30 degrees Celsius, air humidity 25-70%, to ensure normal ink storage.
3). Prepare the spare ink on the printer at least 24 hours in advance before the printer cartridge/main fuel tank ink is exhausted.
