DTG (direct to garment)
    DTG is a new technology in the T-shirt printing industry. Basically, DTG printer is like an ordinary paper printer.You place a t-shirt and printer will print it. That's it. But their are some cons of using DTG machine. I will try to explain both pros and cons.
PROS
1.You can print any design you like.
2.The print quality will be very good.
3.It is fast printing.
Cons
1.This type of printer is expensive. They normally start with a price tag of 8 lacs.
2.The inks are costly. A normal cartidge of 220 ml will cost you around 4500.
3.This machine needs very high maintenance. You need a trained person to deal with this machine.

Screen printer
   This is a traditional printing technology for T-shirt printing.
PROS
1.One of the cheapest forms of printing. The greater the printing price, the cheaper the price.
2.You can use different types of transfer inks, like glossy or glow in dark ink.
3.Inks are also cheap.
CONS
1.It is best to print one or two color types.
2.You need a technically sophisticated person to handle the machine.
3.Cannot print a complex design.
Sublimation printing
   Sublimation printing is suitable for polyester garments. So if you want to print on polyester, then this type of printing will suit you.
ROS
Sublimation printer cheap, ink is also cheap. The operation is simple, and anyone can use this type of machine.
CONS
Sublimation printers cannot be used to print on cotton fabric that is his only disadvantage.

   For mug printing, sublimation printer are widely use.You just need a heat press machine for mug.Apart from heat press machine you should have a sublimation printer.
